No, you do not need to be present! In fact, most of our regular clients prefer to go about their day while we clean. You can easily arrange entry by providing a door code, lockbox code, or key during our initial setup. Rest assured, our licensed, insured, and family-guided team treats your property with the utmost respect and security.
-
We value our team's schedule and reserve specific time slots just for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel your cleaning, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours' notice (including lockouts where our team cannot access the property) will be subject to a $75. This fee goes directly toward compensating our hardworking cleaners for their reserved travel and labor time. We appreciate your understanding and support in keeping our schedules reliable!

Real life happens—sometimes vehicles break down, roads close, or emergencies arise. Because we hold ourselves to the same high standards we expect from our clients, if we ever have to reschedule your cleaning with less than 24 hours' notice, we will prioritize you for our very next available slot and apply a $20 credit to your bill as our sincere apology for the inconvenience.

At Ducky Works, we are incredibly proud of our high standards and the thoroughness of our work. However, it is important to distinguish between professional cleaning and structural restoration.
Over years of daily use, sun exposure, and natural wear, certain materials in a home will naturally degrade. This includes vinyl blinds toasted by the sun, worn grout, scratched stainless steel, etched shower glass, or weathered wood trim.
-
Yes. For the health and safety of our W-2 employees, our teams are strictly prohibited by federal OSHA regulations from handling potential biohazards. This includes cleaning up human or animal bodily fluids, feces, urine, vomit, rodent droppings, medical waste, heavy mold, or entering homes with active bedbug, flea, or roach infestations.
If our team arrives and encounters any of these hazards, we will immediately stop work, document the area with a photo, and contact you. In these instances, the appointment will be cancelled and subject to our standard $75 fee to compensate our cleaners for their reserved time.
-
We prioritize safety over force: If our team encounters items that are structurally fragile, brittle from sun damage, or degraded from years of neglect, we will clean them as gently as possible. If we feel that normal cleaning or dusting poses a risk of breaking the item (such as brittle, sun-toasted blinds), we will refrain from cleaning it and immediately notify you. Clean does not mean new: Professional cleaning removes dirt, dust, grease, and grime. It cannot reverse years of physical aging, permanent water damage, etching, or rust. Our goal is to make every surface in your home beautifully clean and completely sanitized, but we cannot restore permanently damaged or neglected materials to a brand-new condition.
We appreciate your partnership in keeping expectations realistic so we can safely care for your home!

Ducky Works LLC invests heavily in recruiting, vetting, background-checking, and training our professional staff. By booking our services, you explicitly agree not to solicit, recruit, or hire any current or former Ducky Works employee for private household or commercial services outside of our company. If you wish to permanently hire a Ducky Works team member directly for your private or commercial service, you agree to notify us in writing and pay a $3,000 referral and placement fee prior to their first day of private employment. Private employment of our staff without this agreement will result in the immediate termination of your service, and Ducky Works reserves all legal rights to recover damages.
-
The safety of our cleaning teams is our top priority. We kindly ask that all firearms, ammunition, and weapons be safely locked away and secured prior to our team’s arrival. Under no circumstances will our employees touch, move, or clean around an unsecured firearm.
If a team member encounters an unsecured weapon in a room where they are scheduled to clean, they will immediately leave that room and notify management. Ducky Works will not clean the affected room, and no refunds or discounts will be issued for skipped areas due to unsecured weapons.
-
If you choose to provide Ducky Works with a physical key to your property, your key will be securely tagged (without your name or address) and locked at our office when not in use. In the highly unlikely event that we lose your key, Ducky Works will cover the direct cost of re-keying your exterior door locks up to a maximum of $250. If your home has a security alarm, please ensure it is turned off on your scheduled cleaning day, or provide us with the correct entry code and disarming instructions. Ducky Works is not responsible for any false alarm fees, police dispatch charges, or fines resulting from outdated alarm codes or improper instructions provided by the client.
-
To ensure our teams can safely and efficiently perform their physical duties, Ducky Works requires that the home’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems be fully operational on the day of your cleaning. During summer months, indoor temperatures must be set no higher than 74°F (23°C), and during winter months, no lower than 65°F (18°C). If our team arrives and finds the temperature unsafe to work in, the clean will be cancelled and subject to our standard $75 fee.
-
Yes, we can! To ensure the highest level of safety for our team and your home, we structure our heights policy into two levels:
Routine Maintenance Cleans: For standard recurring services, our cleaning team is restricted to using a heavy-duty 2-step stool. They are equipped with high-reach extension poles that can safely dust surfaces up to 10 to 12 feet from the floor. W-2 staff members cannot climb tall A-frame ladders.
Specialized High-Reach & Deep Cleans: If your home requires high-ceiling fan cleaning, high window washing, or second-story dusting, we can absolutely accommodate this as a scheduled specialty service. These high-reach tasks are performed exclusively by our certified High-Reach Specialists utilizing professional commercial safety ladders and equipment. Please let us know during your initial booking or walk-through if you have high-reach needs so we can schedule our specialty team accordingly
